Hi every one, i got this on Christmas Eve all in one session, nearly 9 hours in total. Was a great night for it here in Stoke-on-Trent...Hoping to get some more hours on it soon as the moon fades out the way.

35x900s  on NGC1491 and this is what i have come up with. All subs taken have been used. Stacking and post processing done with APP and Photoshop C6, I am trying to get my processing up a notch or two so don't know what is right realy.

OOUK ODK12"...AA 294C ProTec...Optlong L-eXtreme Filter...Mount Ioptron Cem120ec..

Regards,

Bob.

Looking good. Did you use darks, seems to be a lot of amp glow on the image?

Hi Brian, yes i did use them, but it did not get rid of the amp glow from this camera and i don't know why. There was a considerable amount on both sides, so i cropped the worst of it out each side.

Bob.

Seems I was mistaken, it's not amp glow, it's sensor glow, and it increases with exposure length with this camera. Not sure why you would get it on both sides of the image though.

For OSC Bob that is really working well.

Thanks John, I am happy with the camera to a point, i Know mono is best at the moment and maybe always will be. i am  leaning towards an upgrade in the future to one with latest colour sensors with zero amp glow, they are getting better and better.

Regards,

Bob.

Yep I thought the same, so just had delivered about a week ago the new Altair 26c, which will set up on my iOptron 40EC and with one of my Esprits.

Long way off that Bob, as need to set up and balance the rig and then do my focus points and as this will not be in the observatory then I will have to make up new leads etc.
