P Holdsworth
Hi all,This is just 3.5 hours from Christmas eve on the Heart nebula. I definitely need another couple of nights on it but thought I would post the start of it. I'm happier with the processing this time using the photoshop tips from Carole and Neil and I think I've got a better workflow going now. This is still with just a stock dslr so there's some noise but hoping some of that will go with more exposure time. I'm going to try get a min of 8 hours to fix that. Wishing everyone all the very best for 2021CheersPaul

Astroarg
great image, looks clean.I've just been setting up my workflows, what I like about Heart and Soul is you can get them most of the year, but I wanted to try and get them during the cold winter months.Sadly I can't fit the whole of this in on my 183C even with a 0.8x reducer :( Mosiac it is then... or a widefield of the whole area.

P Holdsworth
@astroargThank you,Yes I think the larger sensor of a dslr and a focal length of 500 mm helps with this one.All the best for 2021
