Nebulae in Auriga

This image taken from my Backyard in Cheshire shows you the two bright nebulae in Auriga commonly known as IC 410 and IC 405.

They were recorded during a brief break in our crappy Winter weather last week on 2021 01 06 between 18:30 hrs and 21 hrs GMT.

I wanted to image this area of my sky because Auriga is now because the constellation is now rising earlier and is subsequently at a decent altitude during the early evening.

I used my new Astro modified EOS 600D with an Optolong l-eNhance filter and William Optics ZS 61. Exposure times were 240 seconds each at 800 iso. Darks were added but no Flats or Bias.

Stacked in DSS and processed in Photoshop CC.
