AstronomyUkraine 207
After many weeks of inactivity, I managed to grab 4.5 hours of Ha data on IC 405, the Flaming Star Nebula. The seeing was horrible, and my stars are a little funky, but I'm happy to be out again. I posted this in the January "Anyone Imaging Tonight" forum, but it was the 1st of Feb when it was posted, now it looks like it has been orphaned. . Brian

Padraic M 57
Very nice Brian. It's a nice target and you've captured lots of detail in that 'creamy' centre.

geoflewis 33
I set up my SA mount with Canon 600D + 35mm lens to play with my new remote control timer on Orian constellation. I managed 5x2m subs before the clouds rolled in.... 😠. Nevertheless, still not a complete waste of time as it took me a couple of hours to work out how to configure the remote handset and camera to do what I wanted....
Gina 128
The areas of the sky I would have liked to image were clouded out.

DaveS 22
i could see stars when I poke my head out just now, but it's blowing a hoolie, so wouldn't be imaging even if the sky did clear enough.
Skipper Billy 55
A clear night forecast for the Scottish Highlands tomorrow - no moon - no wind but -14 degrees. I may need a light fleece!
DaveS 22
CO and MO had been showing a fairly long clear slot for tomorrow night. Unsurprisingly the slot is rapidly shrinking.
geoflewis 33
My garden and observatory roof are covered in snow, with the forecast here for tomorrow night potentially as low as -10C, so even if it does clear I doubt that I'll be heading out..... 🥶
