Popular Post Dmack1
This was back at New Year When I still had the Hypercam 269c. A bit short in time at 78X180s but not too bad. Jkulin
Some lovely detail there David, just need a little work on the noise.
Dmack1
Thanks John, yes you are right. I think it was just not enough integration really. i tried several ways to reduce the nose but it was ending up looking "plastic"
Jkulin
David what are your processing with? If Pixinsight then there are some really good scripts out there to help, can't help with PS or APP as I don't know them well enough.
Dmack1
I'm using Pixinsight. Tried Ez denoise at linear which usually give me decent results but on this was too heavy handed. So used MLT at linear and Tgv at non linear ( maybe the other way around, cant remember!) And this was the end result.
Jkulin
Hi David, I have used EZ Denoise with a great deal of success, alternatively I use Shawn at Visible Darks tutorial on MLTNR and TVG Denoise and they are superb.
Dmack1
Thanks John. Yes I watched Shawn's one and think I'll give it a try. I also thing I'm going to go back to first principles,es on it as I think there could have been a calibration issue
