paul
This is my first serious attempt with the 70EDT-F but using the TSRED297 0.8 RF and imaging with the ASI533MC-Pro and L-Pro filter. After a couple of hours adjusting spacing I managed almost 2hrs of data before the clouds rolled in. The flattener spacing needs more work but I got fed up and didn't want to waste the clear skies. I was surprised even for the relatively small chip of the 533 that spacing was so critical but on the plus side there is no visible vignetting. ( I've been a bit brutal with processing, trying to follow several tutorials at once is not a good idea 😄.) On the HEQ5 with my portable rig: I'm finding setup and tear down so simple and quick that I'm worried the newts will gather dust. I'm itching to try out the L-Enhance so might go down the field one night to get some southern skies. (most of the view south is blocked from LEOs legs down). 1
MartinS
Nice image and great looking piece of kit you have there, I think the Newts should be worried. 😏
