All new to me equipment that's taken a while to get some sort of image out of.

Rainbow RST-135 mount, Sharpstar 150HNT f2.8, ASIAR Pro, ZWO2600MC Optolong LeNhance filter.

Just a dozen 300sec' frames, just calibrated and stacked in APP, also first try at, very noisy needs more data, collimation still looks a bit out as well.

That's coming on very nicely, looks like you are finally taming that Sharpstar.

I'm also interested in your thoughts on the Rainbow mount?

Why not do a review of both and let others know?

Will do John, the Rainbow has it's pros and cons and you know all about the Sharpstars shortcomings, be interested to know if anyone has purchased a Sharpstar from FLO or TS.

Cheers Dave, indeed I applaud your patience trying to get yours sorted, looks like you are there or thereabouts.

Am I right in thinking that FLO are having to use ES Reid to sort them because there are that many problems?

The rainbow certainly looked like a superb mount, so look forward to reading about it as you are the first I know of to have got one.

I hope so as mine seemed to have been assembled by someone with no idea what they were doing, so not just a case of collimating it more like rebuilding it.
