You can use your Bahtinov mask on stars to get focus - then lock your focus on your telescope and move to the Moon and planets and focus will be exactly the same as it is all at infinity. TerryMcK Posted March 25, 2021 Share Posted March 25, 2021 Once you have nailed focus try taking a short video of around 1000 frames (use Sharpcap as your camera might work with that) or just a native video and then run it through AutoStakkert. Try to aim onto the terminator area which is where the shadows are the longest. That is where the dark and light areas meet or from the moon's perspective where day meets night.
