Pentax k-70

I’ve recently bought myself a new DSLR. Mainly for daytime and the odd widefield milky way shot. 

(I have quite a few astro cameras to play with :) ) 

 

 

anyway I took a punt on Pentax! Now I await all the Canon and Nikon naysayers ...

however hear me out, it’s got a few good astro features. Who would have thought? A consumer DSLR with features specifically for astro ? 

a few that spring to mind are the red light screen mode, star stream in camera stacking for star trails, and if you buy the astrotracer gps module aswell...then you can dump your star tracker in some scenarios (the sensor moves and tracks instead).
