QHY 268C

Hi Everyone. Been using a Altair 269c Hypercam for a while now and love it but wanted a second camera so I didn't have to keep breaking down setups and messing around with backspacing etc. So I have got my hands on the QHY268c and its a beast of a camera. Been very impressed with it so far. It has 3 different shooting modes - Photographic, High Gain, Extended Full Well. Been having a play with it and building dark frame libraries. Anyone else have one?

Not yet, but I have one on my to-buy list, together with the mono version when it's released. Been on the Astrograph site as I've bought a load of kit from them, in excess of £20k I think.

As for Mark, I too will be interested in the results.

The QHY 600 is a bit too rich for me unfortunately.

This is 5 x 300 secs stacked, no calibration frames at all, its a bit noisy as I'm learning best noise settings but if this is what it can do with just 5 images then I'm a happy boy!
