M42 ORION NEBULA

I can't say if that is a good image of Orion Nebula or not, however that is only 2 hours collection 120 sec exposure and processed in Siril and GImp.

 

I see an huge difference respect to my first attempt some months ago .

You have improved greatly since your first images, despite all the setbacks you had. No doubt a few bottles of red wine helped. 😁

I'm not sure if it infringes copyright ...

 

 

It's worth pointing out GIMP is freeware.

I love the Orion Nebula it has to be one of my favourites, in fact my sons name is Hunter after the constellation Orion. By the way beautiful pic
