Pixisight help plz

Hi there

 

i wondered if someone could tell me how I bring out the stars in image with Pixisight?

as I look at it in other images and it looks really nice kind regards

By bringing out, do you mean increasing their brightness?

No not the brightness there’s something you can adjust that brings out more stars you might be right I’m not sure

The only way to bring out more stars is by stretching, but then you run the risk of overstretching. Most astro imagers prefer less stars in their images, it shows the object better. What target was you shooting?

I just saw an image of m45 with alot more stars and it looked really nice that's all thanks

The stars are there Rhoda, but very faint. I think when you stretched the image, you might have clipped the black point, and reduced the brightness of some of the smaller stars.
