I wanted to share a particularly nice image posted on our Facebook group today by William Shaw.

The expanding gas shell of this Wolf-Raynet star is very faint, and mainly visible in the Oiii band.

The Altair 3nm Oiii filter with rest report was used with Hypercam 26M for the especially faint Oiii data, because of it's world beating SNR, and what a result!

Altair SkyTech LPRO-MAX filter and Hypercam 26C Camera was used for the rest of the data.

You can read more about William's image, and see a higher resolution version on his original Facebook post here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/altairastro/permalink/5052945791477068/
