Tips for not bumping head on scope when leaning down to look? :-P

Semi-serious post here - that seems to be my biggest irritation right now is i get something just where I want it, then lean in to look in the eyepiece and whack my head on the back of the OTA, causing everything to bounce around violently for quite awhile.  I assume that is something I just need to think about every time, but maybe I have the tripod height wrong or the diagonal in weirdly or something.  Any thoughts?  Thanks! 😁

Get a red light head torch. They work great and the red light doesn’t mess up your dark eye adaption.
