Altair dual band filter over triple band

Just wanted to comment about my two filters from Altair.

Both are 2" fitting and both arrived well packaged in cases.

I've used both extensively and feel the dual band wins hands down over the triple band. I found I had to give my kit a lot more exposure time in comparison to my mates Niko DSLR (I was using my Canon 80D for 10 mins @ISO800 compared to his 3 mins!)

Obviously there was a lot more time for error.

The background was a lot darker so the LP was sorted but I was expecting a lot more detail from the triple band.

I'd say use the dual band, it is certainly necessary if you have any LP (and most of us do!)
