Nick of Altair asked me to submit some reviews. Here's my set up and instal of an Altair Pier and EQ6R mount inside a 6x6 Keter Shed.  Feel free to ask for my modus operandi. I did ask Glen AKA Astrobloke for guidance. Thanks Glen.

Hi Terry. Normally the roof is screwed down if you are using it as a shed. So as im using it as an observatory, i simply un hook the bungee chords and the roof lifts off. My diy skills don't stretch to making it a rolling roof unfortunately. This is possible and has been done by Glen but im happy lifting it on and off. Feel free to ask away anything further. cheers

Thanks very much for posting this Derek. It's definitely a good solution for a stable setup, and should inspire folks to get a mini observatory.

Wishing you clear skies!

your welcome Nick, the spiraling cost of wood really awoke me to seeking a cheaper but just as good solution and here it is half the price of a wood shed and almost ZERO maintenance.
