It seems so high, compared to the last few years. It's been a while since I've seen it at this altitude this time of the year.

It's been a good six months for Jupiter. 

 

Next time it's in Opposition is this December and it will be at an even higher altitude.

Higher, I like that. I was getting kinda bored trying to observe the 'Big J' between chimney stacks lol. I didn't really see much of the GRS last year. I have witnessed a couple of nice Galilean transits and at least one occultation.
