Demon
Couldn't resist getting back to the big newt now that I can get on target using plate solving. Put the 80Ed on one end of the fork for better balance which has worked nicely and allowed me to take 10lb weight off to balance against Dec worm on other side. Plus works as nice guide scope. Fingers crossed for a try tonight to get back on M81 up close and personal.... Edited April 15, 2022 by Demon

Demon
Appreciated thanks Terry, it's a monster and often a nightmare. Sadly the clouds rolled in tonight but at least its ready for next clear night. I managed to check the tracking the other night and it was good at 1.2arcsec without tweaking but collimation was a nightmare as had to move secondary, got it done finally but ran out of time to get on target with the new camera. Fingers crossed...
Galileo
that's quite something, will it go in the shed with the newt attached ?
Demon
Yep fits newt in, although was a bit of a squeeze after adding 80ed to side of one fork but thankfully just misses.
