Testing Altair new TRI-RGB filter 
I Like what I'm seeing in my Bortle 8 skies
Cocoon nebula wide field 
135mm F4 lens 
AA 26M
18x300s
I can't see any halos but if you need more info about the filter message Ian or nick

Primarily intended for colour cameras Terry, but this is a really interesting additional use for a mono camera luminance channel. The resulting image is very sharp and contrasty, more so than a normal LUM filter. I believe Ryan is in London around Bortle 8.
