New Gear causing the clouds

Its my fault and I would like to wholeheartedly apologise here and now for the really terrible state of this countries weather at the moment.

My new presents to myself arrived

Heres just a few pics before I go to first light

I think we are all guilty of cloud forming. I too am guilty yer onor.

Nice haul of gear Nick. Looking forward to seeing the results.

I think I have a work-around for that minor annoyance.  

 

The three items I use for astronomy (2 pairs of binoculars and a spotting scope) were all purchased for my bird-watching hobby - not specifically astronomy.  Therefore, when I bring them out to look to the skies, and it is cloudy, I blame the problem on someone else and I don't feel the slightest bit guilty 😂

 

That is my excuse and I am sticking to it 🤭
