Review of Altair 6nm Dual Band filter - against moonlight and street lights

Altair 6nm Dual Band ULTRA filters tested against the moon, streetlamps, and even city lights in a shady part of town!

This reviewer certainly put the filter though its paces. I think he said he was in Bortle 3 when at home. The difference between no filter and the AA filter when capturing the Veil was astonishing. Too many stars and not enough nebula in the no filter sub. Unobtrusive stars and loads of nebula in the AA filter sub. The 6nm passbands doing their work supremely.

 

I liked when he took his gear downtown at night but was not going to hang around for longer than an hour as "It's not safe"!

It looks like he produces the music himself too as he had some music production gear in the background in the video.
